James Amsler |

- Joined Chicago Coast in 2004
- Played in 10 US Open National Championships since 1993
- Coached 6 years of club volleyball, taking three teams to Junior Olympics
- Coached Varsity Volleyball team at Clements High School (Houston, TX), making 5A State Semifinals in 1997
- Played professional beach volleyball in Florida from 1993-5. qualifying for Ft. Myers AVP Open in 1993
- Vanderbilt University Varsity Basketball team member, making two NCAA Championship appearances

Personal: Jim is a WebSphere Technical Sales Specialist for IBM. He and his wife Sue have three children, Jillian , Jason , Rowan, and Joseph. - 1997 Illinois State Championship won by what is considered "The Greatest Team ever assembled in the world," and categorized as a team that, "could beat up on the 1980 Olympic Gold Medal Winners - the Soviet Union."
- Continued career at Division III Dominican University
- 2nd Team All-Conference Junior Year
- Conference MVP in 2001 (Thanks goes to Ed Gomez for setting him all the time, he couldn't have won without Ed's support to not set anyone but him)
- Joined Coast in 2003, placed 3rd at nationals in Atlanta in 2004 and plans on placing 1st in the near future
Personal: Born in Colorado but parents forced him to move to Chicago with them. Now lives in the burbs with wife and kids. Works at Harris Investor Services Inc., as an Investment Manager. |

Personal:Biggest pet peeve: People licking their fingers after they eat. Make sure you use a napkin instead of your mouth if you've just eaten some BBQ ribs. First of all it's just not sanitary to be sticking your fingers in your mouth. Do you know how many germs your hands pick up on a daily basis? Second, it's just a gross sound that nobody wants to hear. |

Currently, Kevin is the COO of a call center software company and is married with 3 kids and another on the way. In his spare time, he blogs about his family, enjoys games of strategy and spends time figuring out how to retire at age 50. |

Personal: Currently an Investment Banker for US Bank Real Estate Capital Markets living in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. Phil is currently engaged and by no coincidence enjoys a rousing game of flip-cup and heated Guitar Hero battles |
